It was our sincere pleasure and a wonderful decision to hire Michelle and her crew from Clutter & Hoarding Pros! We were beyond exhausted at cleaning our cousin's home after he passed, and Michelle and her crew came in, rolled up their sleeves, and dug in to tackle this job in a day and a half!! They were thoughtful, kind, considerate, and most professional in the process. They allowed us to look through things and sort items into piles, took donations to Good Will, carefully packed a dumpster, and helped us to rearrange for a garage sale!
Michelle did what my family and I had long classified as impossible and exhausting. Words alone cannot convey the dismay and despair we felt attempting to convince my mother to downsize in preparation for relocation to assisted living. The arguments were insurmountable, the level of frustration reached off-the-chart stress levels. My 82-year-old mother still continues to revel in denial about her severe “packrat” status. Call it what you will, she is a serious hoarder. Although she did not want the help, Michele’s in-home assessment worked a small miracle in moving her to let us get the help she desperately needed.
I am a 79-year old man with Parkinson's disease. My sister has lived with me for the past 4 years and was diagnosed with lung cancer and could not take care of herself any longer. Since my disease has severely limited my mobility, I could not keep up with the clutter that had taken over our 3-bedroom home. Since my wife passed away two years ago, the collection of trash and other items became unmanageable and impossible. Our cleaning lady was stealing from us and not doing much but moving things around.
It was wonderful to have Michelle working with our family's estate organizing and decluttering project. Both my husband and sister-in-law are so relieved and comforted that this mess has been taken care of. We didn’t realize the situation was as bad as it had become. Michelle made each of our organizing sessions not only painless but really fun.
