Michelle and her team are simply outstanding. I am one of four siblings and needed to reach out to her in order to inquire about the costs and the process involved in clearing out my sister's very hoarded and filthy single-family home. I spoke to two other companies and there simply wasn't any doubt as to which company I would be working with.

Watching her team work is actually fascinating. They are efficient, organized, professional, discreet, and more importantly to me and my family, very respectful. The property and project were completed exactly as stated. Michael, the team lead, found over $6,000 in rare coins and cash amongst other buried family treasures we never imagined we would recover.

The project was extremely overwhelming for us to tackle on our own. Michelle was thorough, methodical, and very organized on how she (and her crew) handled the project. She was very professional, yet she was able to create an atmosphere that gave us total peace.
 
Not only did she involve us in the total project, but she didn't leave until her crew sorted, organized, and displayed the items for the garage/estate sale. We now have a mini-organized department store setting of items to sell. Michelle (and her crew) are very knowledgeable. They gave us advice on how to advertise the event on Craig's List, how to price the items, and how to run our sale, so that we can make money for the estate.

It was our sincere pleasure and a wonderful decision to hire Michelle and her crew from Clutter & Hoarding Pros! We were beyond exhausted at cleaning our cousin's home after he passed, and Michelle and her crew came in, rolled up their sleeves, and dug in to tackle this job in a day and a half!! They were thoughtful, kind, considerate, and most professional in the process. They allowed us to look through things and sort items into piles, took donations to Good Will, carefully packed a dumpster, and helped us to rearrange for a garage sale!

Cluttered bedroom
Michelle did what my family and I had long classified as impossible and exhausting. Words alone cannot convey the dismay and despair we felt attempting to convince my mother to downsize in preparation for relocation to assisted living. The arguments were insurmountable, the level of frustration reached off-the-chart stress levels. My 82-year-old mother still continues to revel in denial about her severe “packrat” status. Call it what you will, she is a serious hoarder. Although she did not want the help, Michele’s in-home assessment worked a small miracle in moving her to let us get the help she desperately needed.

Michelle and her team did a fantastic job within one week. Although not an inexpensive undertaking, the services, patience, resources, and professionalism proved to be well worth her fees, and the results far exceeded our expectations. Cluttered office
I am a 79-year old man with Parkinson's disease. My sister has lived with me for the past 4 years and was diagnosed with lung cancer and could not take care of herself any longer. Since my disease has severely limited my mobility, I could not keep up with the clutter that had taken over our 3-bedroom home. Since my wife passed away two years ago, the collection of trash and other items became unmanageable and impossible. Our cleaning lady was stealing from us and not doing much but moving things around. 

After my sister passed away in December 2014, I was referred to Michelle by a social worker. Michelle was very kind, listened to me, and treated me with nothing but respect. I felt an instant connection the moment she walked into my home. She did not rush me, and I was able to explain what happened. I felt  very special and not judged. We have not allowed anyone into our home in over two years, but I wasn’t embarrassed with Michelle. We contacted Michelle after my mother passed away and left us with a 1,700-square-foot house filled carpet to ceiling and wall to wall with over 40 years of her life. We couldn't believe how dire the situation had become, since my mother always refused to let any family members into her home until she needed to be hospitalized. She always refused our help. Michelle and her team were not only professional but very caring in sorting the trash from the treasure. It was estimated it would take them five days to complete the project, but it only took them three.

You and your team proved to be a godsend in our time of need and made quick work of what was a daunting project: clearing out 27 years of accumulated stuff from the home of Mary’s late father.

The crew you assembled at 7 a.m. went quickly to the task at hand and kept at it steadily all day. Without exception, your workers were courteous, professional and energetic, completing the job in far less time than was expected. 

We felt as though we’d temporarily joined a well-choreographed ballet troupe whose members thoroughly enjoy what they do. They kept up a good-natured banter and it was clear they respect one another, their clients and the task at hand.

Nothing of great monetary value was uncovered, but their search was careful, the team members consulted with us on all potential items, and we’re reasonably sure nothing important was overlooked. An important sentimental discovery was her dad’s U.S. Army uniform from World War II, uncovered in the basement of the house that otherwise was filled with discards. Your watchful team also brought us some meaningful family photographs that had eluded us.

It is a sad occasion to say goodbye to the material possessions of a loved one, but the emotional task was made far easier by our fortunate decision to hire your company.

My husband and I are collectors, but after he was injured in an automobile accident, his depression set in and we both used shopping at local thrift stores as our form of cheap entertainment. I’m sure I’ve got the clutter gene (thanks Dad!) and that Michelle has the organizer gene. She’s been helping me solve my problems for 4+ years. I would be over the edge if not for her. I interviewed several organizers to deal with my office, which was piled with boxes and covered with papers. I barely had a path to the computer. Some of the other organizers actually gasped when they it; others said it wasn’t something they could handle.

Michelle calmly discussed my objectives, laid out her approach to the solution, and set up some ground rules I could live with. The result was a clean office, after which she organized my five file cabinets. The process was fair and consistent; we worked together as a team, side by side. The results were fantastic: I’m productive in the office with the clutter gone, and the filing system saves me bundles of time. My anxiety level dropped considerably.

We also tackled the garage, which was a war zone of gear, equipment, tools, with free-standing shelves in the middle . . . you get the picture! Wound up with a clean workbench, room for the cars, and tools and gear easily identifiable and accessible. Another triumph for the “Michelle & Me Team.”

​I get periodic encouragement emails from Michelle to support the processes she has taught me. Occasionally I may fall off the wagon, but she’s there to get things back on track and lead  me to my comfort zone again.
